Pech Pech 1 Farsi Book – Persian Language Learning for Kids

Until recently, there were few effective resources designed specifically for teaching Persian to children and teens. Most materials focused on adults, leaving a major gap in Farsi education for young learners.

At Melale Persian Educational & Research Institute, we filled this gap by creating PechPech, a three-level series (Beginner to Advanced) tailored for kids and teens. Developed by native teachers and language experts, PechPech builds all four core skills, reading, speaking, listening, and writing, while introducing learners to Persian culture in a fun and engaging way.

The content is kid-friendly, with simple grammar explanations, colorful illustrations, and real-life communication tasks that help learners grasp both spoken and written Farsi naturally.

Description

PechPech is a three-level language series designed specifically for children and teenagers learning Persian as a second language. It combines a research-based structure with engaging visuals, activities, and music to create an interactive and joyful learning experience.

Why Choose PechPech?

  • Specifically designed for young learners – not just simplified adult content

  • Balance between written and spoken Persian – ideal for real-life communication

  • Culturally rich content – introduces students to Persian life and traditions

  • Fun, game-based learning – kids stay motivated and involved

  • Native teacher input – developed by experienced Persian educators

What’s Inside Each Lesson?

1. Vocabulary with Audio and Images

Each lesson starts with a theme-based vocabulary section supported by audio and visuals. Learners hear native pronunciation, view illustrations, and complete activities that strengthen retention.

2. Functional Language & Dialogue Practice

Two illustrated dialogues per lesson focus on real-life situations—such as greetings, asking questions, or counting. Students hear both formal and spoken versions and practice through role-play and visual prompts.

3. Grammar in Context

Grammar points are presented simply and visually, using examples and illustrations so children can intuitively understand sentence structure and usage.

4. Sticker-Based Activities

Every lesson includes interactive sticker tasks. Learners listen or read, then match the correct sticker—turning language practice into a game.

5. Poems & Songs

Music is key to engagement. Each lesson includes a cheerful song or poem that reinforces the vocabulary and grammar through rhythm and rhyme, helping kids retain what they’ve learned.

6. Speaking & Storytelling Practice

Pages 5 and 6 focus on speaking. Students retell stories, recreate dialogues, and practice forming sentences from pictures—developing fluency through storytelling.

7. Cultural Sections

Special units at the end of lessons 6 and 12 offer cultural insights and stories. These parts encourage group discussion and deepen learners’ connection to Persian culture.

Who Is It For?

PechPech is perfect for:

  • Children and teenagers (ages 6–14) learning Persian as a second or heritage language

  • Parents and teachers seeking a structured curriculum with audio and visuals

  1. Neda Hosseini

Finally a proper alphabet book for Persian learners! My American-born son (9) went from not recognizing letters to reading simple words in just 3 weeks. The right-to-left writing practice pages solved his biggest struggle.

  2. Daniel Müller

As a homeschooling parent, I appreciate how this book makes teaching Persian script stress-free. The step-by-step letter formation guides are brilliant, and my twins love the matching games. The included audio pronunciations help me teach correctly even though I’m not a native speaker

  3. Amina Khan

My 7-year-old was struggling with Persian letters until we found this book! The colorful pages and fun exercises turned learning into a game. Now she writes her name in Farsi with pride.
