One day, Nilo and her little brother Sami were playing in the garden. They wanted to play a game, so Nilo said, “Let’s count how many flowers we see!”
یک روز، نیلو و برادر کوچکش سامی در باغچه بازی می‌کردند. آن‌ها می‌خواستند یک بازی کنند، پس نیلو گفت: «بیایید ببینیم چند تا گل می‌بینیم!»
Sami looked around and counted. “One, two, three!” he said, pointing to the colorful flowers.
سامی دور و برش را نگاه کرد و شروع به شمردن کرد. «یک، دو، سه!» او به گل‌های رنگارنگ اشاره کرد.
Nilo smiled and said, “Good job, Sami! Now let’s count the birds!”
نیلو لبخند زد و گفت: «آفرین، سامی! حالا بیایید پرنده‌ها رو بشماریم!»
They saw one bird flying in the sky. “One bird,” said Nilo.
آن‌ها یک پرنده را که در آسمان پرواز می‌کرد دیدند. «یک پرنده» نیلو گفت.
Then, they saw two more birds sitting on the tree. “Two birds!” said Sami.
بعد، آن‌ها دو پرنده دیگر را دیدند که روی درخت نشسته بودند. «دو پرنده!» سامی گفت.
Nilo laughed and said, “Now, let’s count how many leaves are on the ground!”
نیلو خندید و گفت: «حالا بیایید ببینیم چند تا برگ روی زمین است!»
They counted together, “One, two, three, four, five!”
آن‌ها با هم شمردند: «یک، دو، سه، چهار، پنج!»
They had so much fun counting all the things around them, and Nilo said, “Great job, Sami! You are getting better at counting in Farsi!”
