Daf, Cajon, Tambourine, and Udu instructor

Ali Kavian began studying Daf under the tutelage of master Mohsen Taherzade in Isfahan in 1998. After that, he had the privilege to study under the unsurpassed Daf master, Bijan Kamkar.
He showed great perseverance and with a lot of practice, he soon became an instructor and obtained membership in the Isfahan Music Instructors’ community. He then began teaching in a lot of reputable music institutes in Isfahan, including Nahid Sama’, Taje Isfahani, Navaye Mehr, Sepahan Sina, Aftabe Andishe, Aftabe Mehrbani, Razak, Navaye Hezar Dastan, etc.
Since the year 2000, Ali Kavian held many concerts in Isfahan and other cities of Iran as a composer, singer, and percussion instruments player along with well-known and prominent music groups from Isfahan, including Sama’, Hagh Jooyan, Hoonivak, Ilya, Nasoot, and Naghme Isfahan.
Among his other achievements, we can refer to holding concerts in many different countries, including Germany, France, Netherlands, Italy, Southern Ireland, Belgium, Russia, Turkey, Malaysia, Turkmenistan, Thailand, Bahrain, and Morocco.

- Performing music in the office of the Permanent Mission of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the United Nations in Geneva
- Holding a concert in Bern, the capital city of Switzerland, in 2018
- Winning first place in the Khonya Garan National Music Festival in 2011
- Participating in international festivals, including Penang World Music Festival and Malacca World Heritage and won different places in this field
Ali Kavian has had a lot of collaborations with the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting in Isfahan as a player and singer over the years in the production of video clips, TV series, and advertisement teasers.
He has also played percussion instruments, such as Daf, Tambourine, Bendir, Cajon, and Udu, in the upcoming musical pieces, including Khosh Basho Bi Man Bash (be joyful and be without me), Banke Sorkh, and Naze Nooshin.
